About the Brand

Caroline Francis began where most candle brands don't — in a garden. Founder Caroline Smukler spent years as a landscape architect, designing outdoor spaces across Southern California. The scents she encountered on job sites — sun-warmed sage, canyon cedar after rain, wild jasmine at dusk — became the vocabulary for a fragrance line unlike anything in the luxury candle market.

Every Caroline Francis candle is hand-poured in Los Angeles using 100% paraffin-free coconut soy wax and essential oil-based fragrances. The brand exists at the intersection of scent, design, and slow living — an invitation to notice the air around you.
